Gear Our guides are trained to set up your equipment with backing, fly line and leaders. You can buy the flies you need from local shops. We recommend that you bring a 9 to 10-foot graphic fly rod and a matched reel with a 3.5-inch diameter. Our big fish like to run, so you’ll need 100 yards of backing line in addition to your #8 or #9 floating, weight-forward line. Chest waders are essential and we recommend breathable, waders, with wading boots and felt bottoms for your comfort and stability. A wading staff is also a good idea. |
